Katie and Nate's Wedding Cake

Yeah that's right!  We do cakes!!  As in we make them for our clients!  We love to say that we are a "one-stop-shop" of sorts.  We can do it all!  Design services, cakes, florals, stationary, and even photography-- you name it we can do it ourselves.  We have amazing vendors at our disposal as well!!

Katie and Nate's wedding featured a black and white theme with splashes of pink.  Their cake was a 4-tiered fondant covered cake with black ribbon and icing details.  The flowers are fresh gerbera daisies and roses.  The silver broaches are handmade and edible!
The cake flavors they chose were white chocolate cake with fresh strawberries and swiss buttercream and dark chocolate cake with swiss buttercream--- So DELICIOUS!!

Red and Black Wedding

I know that Valentine's Day has come and gone, but we found these pics in our archives and had to share. Some of the events that we do the couple is on a very tight budget, but we firmly believe that you shouldn't give up the look that you want for your event. It just might need some tweaking.
What we did for this wedding was take roses and red carnations and took this black and red wedding to the next level. Some people may frown at the thought of using carnations but when done correctly (like here with the tall mercury glass) no one will think twice about using this inexpensive flower. Then we bought red roses in bulk. On every other table we laid down a bunch of rose petals and placed simple votive candles on top. We placed a generous layer of roses on the head table too. We also like adding linens to enhance the look we are going for.

Farrell Baby Shower

This was by far one of the most important events I had to plan. That being my sister's baby shower. If you know my sister then you know that she has such a fun personality and her smile can light up a room, and if your me than you are blessed to know what unconditional love really feels like. Yeah she's pretty amazing. When it came time to plan this special event I wanted to make sure this party honored my sister in every way. She is very eclectic. Trying to get her to narrow down the ideas she has can be a bit challenging, however being sisters there is always a deep understanding of what the other one wants. So this fun colorful decor was perfect. A blending of all that she embodies...a bright, vibrant, energetic, and most of all passionate woman. It turned out perfect with the help of amazing friends (and the most wonderful mother) to help pull all of this off.

Valentine's Day Party

I love love love Valentine's Day! And ever since I had kids its even more sweet! So, when you combine Valentine's Day with kids it's practically a recipe for a fantastic party!! And what a party it was. We started wih a color combination that is super trendy right now... aqua and red. Add in splashes of pink and white, some cupcakes, cookies, and candy and it becomes one sugar filled extravaganza.
We set up a lunch/dessert table and a table for the kiddos to eat, decorate cupcakes, and to color at.
We all had a blast... followed by a sugar coma!

February Supper Club

Here are some pictures from an event we had this past weekend for some amazing woman. We did very simple floral decor as the food was the main attraction. The food was out of this world delicious! It was a great turnout and look forward to the next gathering.
